Welcome to the Main Page

This page is to discuss the content of the "Main Page". The main page can be expanded to help people feel welcome to the wiki and help people get started in finding, editing, and creating articles. Categories

At the moment, the main page is categorized with the current categories (eg. OI, OI practice centers, OI teachers, etc.). Clearly, the main page does not belong in any of those categories. However, I think it's a good idea to have it categorized that way for the time being. While it will look a bit silly in each category to see "Main page" listed, it will help new users find the lists of articles. Finding articles at first is one of the problems of wiki's, especially since our site has so few articles right now. Nightngle 08:54, 1 January 2007 (Pacific Standard Time)
